This is an update from Reason TV of where the Gibson Guitar case currently stands. Note that this video contains interviews with a woman from the Environmental Investigation Agency. Basically, the EIA helped to rewrite the Lacey Act because they wanted to target Gibson and make an example of the company. Details can be found here.

There is something more behind the government’s harassment of Gibson. On the face of it, it makes no sense.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering where this stood. I have owned 6 Gibson guitars, lost 3 in a fire and have replaced two of them in the past 6 months. If I could afford it I would buy a hundred more.
