Who Is Obama Trying To Fool? Catholics For Obama Campaign Ad Is Absurd

This ad is wrong on so many levels. Never mind the sleight of hand where Christianity is made equivalent with Marxist liberation theology–something all evangelical Christians reject, and something which has been rejected by the Pope. It is simply shameless that a man in favor of infanticide would call himself a Christian and say that he is about the Lord’s work. It is simply shameless that a man who has decreed that Catholic organizations must support abortion and birth control would pander to Catholics. And, it is simply shameless that a man who will do absolutely nothing for his own brother to try to gain support from Christians by harkening to a nonexistent biblical injunction to be “our brother’s keeper”. Obama simply does not know the Bible and does not have values in keeping with Christianity.

I can still see the video of Pope John Paul II landing in Managua Nicaragua and publicly tongue-lashing the Jesuit Sandinista priest (Sith Lord?) for his crimes against the Catholic church and Christianity in general. Hopefully Cardinal Dolan will chime in soon– we need a Catholic leader to step up to the plate IMMEDIATELY to counter this “recruitment effort” by Obama– he presumes a lot about Catholics in general– I dare say the majority of Catholics do NOT share his views in general– at least that is my hope.
