Top Ten Shared Posts Of 2012

I am so thankful that people have shared my posts on Facebook and Twitter, or have even reposted them on their blogs. It actually means quite a bit to me, as it means that what I have posted has been relevant to people’s lives.

Here are my top ten shared posts of 2012. I am astonished that several of these were shared more than 100 times each. And who would have ever thought that a photo of Queen Elizabeth would be the post with the most hits, and in the groups with the most likes and the most shares?

In retrospect, my comments on Lena Dunham were misguided. I now view the ad as a stroke of genius. I had severely overestimate the American people. My bad. (I stand by the post on Benghazi, however.)

#1 Obama Ordered That The Men In Benghazi Be Left To Die

The latest revelations about what happened in Libya on September 11 are that the CIA operatives in Benghazi, which included Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, who later died in the attack, radioed for help three times, but were turned down:

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed …

I love the look of determination on her face. Who can resist a woman who knows how to handle a machine gun?

#3 An IDF Photo You Will Never See On BBC Or CNN

More in the category of news that the MSM refuses to report: Here is a photo of Israeli Defense Force soldiers protecting Palestinian children from rockets indiscriminately fired from Gaza.

The Obama team may have thought they were being cute with this ad, but it cannot be seen as anything but another sign of ineptitude.

#6 Yes, The Obama Spending Binge Really Did Happen

A propagandist for the Obama regime published a graph the other day purporting to show that Barack Obama has been the most fiscally responsible president in the last sixty years. Now Obama himself has picked up this claim:

(H/t Gateway Pundit)

Obama: “Who are you going to believe? Me or your own lying eyes?”

No, our eyes have not deceived us, despite what our Prevaricator-in-Chief would have us believe. The graph put out by Obama’s sock puppet assumes that the Bush spending increase in early 2009 with TARP is the new baseline, rather than a one-off to cope with the financial crisis, and then credits to George W. Bush–not just TARP–but all of 2009′s spending, including the misguided “stimulus”. However, the stimulus, if you recall, was sponsored not by Bush, but by Obama …

#8 The New Republic Of Texas

Looking forward ten years into the future, this might well be the final outcome of the 2012 election. And no, I’m not being facetious.

I would quibble about some of the boundaries, however. For example, south Florida would no doubt become its own Republic of South Beach, New Mexico would return to old Mexico, and Colorado would become the Land of Sinsemilla. But this is what America may well look like, if current patterns hold.

#9 Introducing The Queen James Bible

According to the Blaze, a new Bible translation has popped up, attempting to rewrite passages from the Bible which are against homosexuality:

“The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible, but the Bible is still filled with inequality and even contradiction that we have not addressed,” the web site notes. “No Bible is perfect, including this one. We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded.”
The editors claim that the word “homosexual” was not placed in the holy book until 1946. Their new version is purportedly a purer — at least in their view — take on the scriptures (although references to same-sex attraction were clearly in the Bible from its inception).
Taking into account the eight verses that are most frequently …

#10 A Word To Those Christians Who Did Not Vote Or Participate

Before we begin, let me tell you a story.

Once, there was a man who lived on a flood plain. It began to rain and the weather forecast predicted floods, but he had no way to leave the area. He prayed to God, and God answered him, saying, “Don’t worry! I’ll save you!”

Soon, the waters began to rise. A friend came by in a SUV, and offered him a ride to safety.

“No,” the man replied. “God has promised to save me.”

The waters rose further, so that no cars could come through. Soon, it was to his porch, and then flooding his living room. But someone rowed by in a small boat, and offered to take him away.

“No,” the man replied. “God has promised to save me.”

Soon, the water covered the ground floor of his house, and he was hanging out his bedroom window above watching as the water came up. A large speed boat came by, and offered him a lift.

“No,” the man replied. “God has promised to save me.”

The waters came up still further, until he had nowhere to go but the roof of his house. As …
