Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
1 John 2: 18
(To be clear, I do not believe that he is the Antichrist. However, surely he is an antichrist. This is not my judgment–this is at his and his supporters’ insistence.)

To be sure, his actions and the decisions he has made in his first term shows him to be antichrist. He may not be The Antichrist, but he may very well be someone who is paving the way for someone else. Our country is certainly not the better for his serving as our President.
He is somehow protected through a divine nature. I’ve stopped fighting him.
What specifically has this president done to incite such vitriol? It’s patently absurd, comical, yet frightening at the same time that otherwise relatively intelligent people believe Obama is an ‘antichrist’. The healthcare overhaul? “Oh no we’re turning socialist (like Switzerland!)” The energy policies and regulations? I hate to break it to the science illiterates and paranoiacs that think the otherwise disconnected worldwide science community is secretly convening to propagate lies about global warming, evolution, and other scientific areas of study, but virtually everything we know about the natural world is due to science (with kudos to a few philosophers of science). Policy insulated from scientific discovery is not something to admire. Maybe it’s gay marriage that you hate. If so, ask yourself if a gay person could talk you into having sex with men. For me the cances are about zero!! Well some people do it and if they weren’t talked into it then they were born with an innate attraction to men, a.k.a genetic predisposition. Why punish them for pursuing a natural inclination that doesn’t hurt the well being of others? Religious reasons? One last pointer: the term ‘liberal’ is worthless due to it evolution. The word so polysemous and has become a pejorative. The word is fodder for propagandists but worthless to rational discourse. Use another word or words.
