“Hey Jude” And “Yesterday” Played On A Traditional Japanese Flute

This is Hideki Togi playing “Hey Jude” and “Yesterday” using a hichiriki, which is a traditional Japanese flute. The quality of music he is able to coax from this small flute is simply amazing.

Since it is hard to see the flute, as it is so small, here is a photo of one with its double-reed mouthpiece beside it.
