Hillary Clinton: We Cannot Let You Hold Opposing Viewpoints

According to TIME Magazine,

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lashed out at opponents of gun control regulations Tuesday, saying they hold a viewpoint that “terrorizes” the majority of Americans.
“We cannot let a minority of people, and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people, hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,” Clinton said during a live CNN town hall.

Note that she did not say that she opposes people who use guns to terrorize people. Rather, she said that the viewpoint itself is akin to terrorism, and that “we” (the royal “we” perhaps?) cannot allow people to hold this viewpoint.

With her statement, Hillary comes out in opposition to both the First and Second Amendments to the US Constitution. For an aspiring presidential candidate, this is no mean feat. However, her statement goes even deeper than this, as she would seek to not only stop the expression of a viewpoint she deems obnoxious, but to somehow eradicate this viewpoint from the minds of the people hold it. One wonders how she intends to accomplish this. Perhaps the famous 1984 ad was not so far from the truth:

Of course, the real lie in this video was that there was one iota of difference between Hillary and Barack. As the song goes,

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
